The Ferry Plus application for fast ferry operators, available as a cloud service, provides a fast minimal key stroke sales/booking and ticketing process to facilitate the short turnaround of fast craft passenger services. The sales process can be parameterised to collect passenger and vehicle information as required for the local legislation requirements and produces appropriate passenger manifests.

Vessels and sailing departures can be set up quickly using series creation and save as functionality. Pricing is extremely flexible providing passenger fares by passenger type, tariffs can be applied to maximise revenue on peak sailings and promote less popular sailings. The fast ferries application allows the sales of unlimited use season tickets of various durations as well as multi-use tickets where a set number of journeys are purchased in advance.

Ferry Plus for fast ferries can also be configured with a self service touchscreen kiosk ticketing facility for fast unattended sales. The Ferry Plus touch screen, self service kiosk provides passengers with a convenient easy to use ticketing facility which is especially useful in crowded and busy departure terminals. Kiosks can also be located in tourist offices and shopping malls etc.

The kiosk can operate either as a stand alone ticketing system or can be fully integrated with the application to check availability and yield class space.

The user interface can either be completely tailored to the ferry operators corporate style or delivered with just the operators logo and our generic design. The kiosk can also incorporate an ‘attract loop’ running on the screen when the kiosk is not directly serving a passenger.

As with all Ferry Plus products, the fast ferry application provides interfaces for secure card payment and paypal as well as to accounting systems which provide an api interface.
